titleOfInvention | Development of simultaneous ammonia and hydrogen sulfide removal using supported microorganism media |
abstract | The present invention simultaneously generates hydrogen sulfide and ammonia odor in various industrial sites such as manure treatment plant, livestock farm, sewage treatment plant, waste landfill site, and chemical plant, resulting in delayed construction of factories necessary for industrial development due to surrounding complaints. Since the construction of sewage treatment plants and landfills, which are facilities, is being delayed, the present invention relates to a method and apparatus for simultaneously removing hydrogen sulfide and ammonia gas among odorous components.n n n The present invention is a technology for effectively treating hydrogen sulfide and ammonia gas simultaneously using a biofilm bubble column reactor to which microorganisms are attached. The reactor consists of two stages or one stage. Hydrogen sulfide is first dissolved in the solution and converted into sulfate ions by the adherent microorganism. The solution, which is converted into sulfate ion, is bubbled as it is converted into ammonium sulfate and reacted with ammonia injected from the bottom of the reactor. The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for effectively removing odor gases, hydrogen sulfide and ammonia, while an attached microorganism is used as a substrate in a reactor. |
