titleOfInvention Lithium ion secondary battery comprising overdischarge retardant
abstract The present invention relates to a lithium secondary battery including an over-discharge prevention agent, and in particular, to a lithium secondary battery positive electrode including a lithium transition metal oxide capable of occluding and releasing lithium ions, an appropriate amount of lithium nickel oxide is administered as an over-discharge preventing agent to form a negative electrode. By providing lithium ions or more to compensate for the irreversibility of the anode, the voltage of the cathode is first lowered to prevent the increase of the voltage of the cathode during the overdischarge test, which is very effective in the overdischarge test and exhibits a recovery of more than 90% after the test. The present invention relates to a lithium secondary battery containing an inhibitor.
