titleOfInvention | Color-transparent 1-part paint composition |
abstract | FIELD OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to color-transparent, one-part coating compositions, and in particular to coating compositions suitable for automotive coatings.n n n The color-transparent, one-part coating composition of the present invention uses a polyol containing at least two or more hydroxyl groups in a molecule as a subject, and a polyol-modified isocyanate containing at least one reactive silane in a molecule as a curing agent and containing an isocyanate group. It is intended to optionally contain diluents, pigments and other components commonly used in paint preparation.n n n The one-component coating composition configured as described above has excellent compatibility and solubility using polyol-modified isocyanate as a substrate, and at the same time, excellent adhesion to other materials can be expressed through reactive silanes contained in the molecule, so that poor adhesion occurs during repainting. In addition, it has the advantage of improving the hardness and scratch resistance of the siloxane bond portion formed in the coating film after curing, as well as forming a coating film excellent in acid resistance. |
