abstract | BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to pest control, and more particularly, to a technique for controlling non-communicating pests by evaporating a pharmaceutical component from a pharmaceutical holding material which holds the medicine under non-heating conditions. The pest control device 1 according to the present invention includes a fan 8 for generating air flow in the chamber 2 from the inlet port 6 to the exhaust port 7 and the motor 5 for driving the fan. The pest control device 1 includes a substrate adjusting means for adjusting the conditions of the air flow such that the motor 5 is provided with a current consumption of 100 mA or less at no load or the optimum amount of evaporation per unit time of the chemical component is used according to the use environment. Or both of them. |
