titleOfInvention | Microencapsulated Compositions |
abstract | Particularly suitable polyurea microcapsules for the application of the leaves are prepared by an interfacial polymerization process, in which the polyurea has a weight ratio of polyisocyanate to diisocyanate (when two forms of isocyanate are present) from about 1: 100 to about Prepared from an aromatic diisocyanate of 1:15 and optionally an aromatic polyisocyanate having at least 3 isocyanate groups, the microcapsules have an average particle size of about 1 to 5 microns. Compared with conventional liquid (eg emulsifiable concentrate) compositions of agrochemicals, microcapsules provide a biological activity that is nearly comparable to conventional liquid compositions, allowing for convenient handling and high filling of the active ingredient. |
