titleOfInvention | Peptide originated from βig-h3 protein binding specifically to the αvβ5 integrin of fibroblast cells |
abstract | The present invention relates to βig-h3 protein-derived peptides and derivatives thereof that specifically bind to fibroblasts and mediate the attachment, proliferation and desorption of cells, and more particularly, these cells bind to αvβ5 integrins as functional cell receptors. The present invention relates to peptides and derivatives thereof, including tyrosine and histidine, which mediate the adhesion activity of and are conserved amino acids for cell adhesion and desorption activity. The peptide of the present invention and its derivatives can be usefully used for the study of cell adhesion activity mediated by various extracellular matrix proteins including βig-h3, and also used for wound healing, tissue regeneration, neovascular suppression and It can be usefully used in the development of peptides that promote cell adhesion, diffusion and desorption which are very useful for inhibiting cancer metastasis. |
