titleOfInvention | A method for producing L-threonine |
abstract | The present invention provides an Escherichia coli strain having a chromosome in which the metJ gene is inactivated and producing L-threonine, and a method of producing L-threonine using the same. According to the E. coli strain of the present invention, since the metJ gene has an inactivated chromosome, the expression of the threonine biosynthesis related gene by the metL gene product is not inhibited, so that threonine can be produced at a high concentration. According to the production method of L-threonine of the present invention, a high concentration of L-threonine can be produced. |
