A non-luminescent material film having a film thickness of 3 to 25 µm formed of a mixture of high-reflectivity non-luminescent material particles and three-wavelength luminescent phosphor particles as a main component and disposed almost entirely on the inner surface side of the translucent discharge vessel 1 ( 2), a phosphor layer 3 having a film thickness of 30 µm or less, which is mainly composed of three-wavelength luminescent phosphor particles, which is disposed over almost the entire inner surface side of the non-luminescent material film 2, and a translucent discharge vessel ( A pair of electrodes 4 and 4 arranged to cause a discharge inside 1) and a discharge medium enclosed in the translucent discharge container 1 are provided. |
