abstract | Disclosed are an optical element for a display having a wedge waveguide and a method of manufacturing the same. The light absorbing portion of the optical element for display is filled with the space portion and cured, and is aligned with the first resin having a refractive index smaller than the waveguide and drawn near the surface of the first resin by magnetic force before the first resin is cured. It has a configuration including the light absorbing particles of the black system fixed by the curing of the first resin at the position. The display and a method of manufacturing the same provide an effect of increasing brightness compared to existing screens by improving the light efficiency by reducing the absorption of the image light incident to the waveguide into the light absorbing part without complicated screen manufacturing process. |
