titleOfInvention | Repressors for HIV transcription and methods thereof |
abstract | The present invention relates to inhibitors and transcription inhibitory methods capable of inhibiting the production of HIV virus genome (RNA), and more specifically, transcriptional activity by strongly compressing a protein or chromatin that strongly inhibits the activity of Sp1, NF-κB and the like. Inhibiting the production of HIV virus genomes (RNAs) obtained by fusing proteins (eg, Tat and Tat analogs) capable of recognizing short genomic RNA strands (TARs) of viruses that remain around expression control sites It relates to a fusion protein having an effect and a method of transcription inhibition. The fusion protein is a process for producing HIV-1 genome (RNA) when a short RNA strand (TAR) recognition protein is used as a missile to send Sp1, NF-κB activity inhibitory proteins to bind to the expression control site of HIV-1 virus. It has the effect of controlling it dramatically. This invention demonstrates that for the first time in the world, HIV transcription can be inhibited by targeting transcriptional inhibitory proteins to HIV LTR in a unique manner. |
