abstract |
The present invention provides a solvent free radiation-curable optical glass fiber coating composition comprising: a) a urethane oligomer having an average functionality of at least about 1.2 and having a polymerizable functional group in the presence of actinic radiation, and having a vinyl addition polymer as the main skeleton; b) urethane compounds having an average functionality of at least about 1 and having polymerizable functional groups in the presence of actinic radiation and containing, as main skeleton, at least 5 carbon atom containing organic moieties; And c) a solvent free radiation-curable optical glass fiber coating composition comprising a reactive diluent. The present invention also relates to a solvent-free method for producing a solvent-free radiation-curable urethane oligomer composition. |
