titleOfInvention | Kitosan staple fibers, chemically modified kitosan fibers, and a process for preparation thereof |
abstract | According to the present invention, there is provided a chitosan fiber composed of 100 chitosans obtained by directly spinning a solution of chitosan into an alkaline aqueous solution.n n n Furthermore, according to the present invention there are provided N-alkylidene and N-arylidene chitosan fibers produced by chemical modification of chitosan fibers using several monoaldehydes.n n n According to the present invention, there is also provided a method for producing chitosan fibers, wherein the chitosan solution is spun directly into an aqueous solution of an alkali mixture.n n n Chitosan fiber according to the present invention can be very useful in the medical field in that it is biodegradable in vivo, and its biodegradation has a pharmacological effect, the method for producing chitosan fiber according to the invention is carbon disulfide, etc. High purity chitosan fibers with good mechanical properties can be produced by a simple process without toxic emissions. |
