titleOfInvention Electrically conductive polytetrafluoroethylene article
abstract According to the present invention, there is provided a conductive composite article having a predetermined volume of polytetrafluoroethylene small fiber matrix. The conductive composite article includes conductive particles and nonconductive energy expandable copolymer particles. The volume percentage of the conductive particles is at least 20 volume percent. The conductive composite article is continuously conductive over the entire structure. Thus, current flows freely through the composite article due to the low resistivity of the composite article. The conductive composite article also includes an elastomeric material disposed within the article in a discontinuous manner.
