| abstract |
The present invention relates to chitosan-containing acrylic fibers having a total chitosan content of 0.05 to 2 wt% and an extractable chitosan content of at least 0.03 wt% and less than the total chitosan content. The antimicrobial activity of the chitosan-containing acrylic fiber of the present invention can be maintained for a long time, even when performing post-treatment such as dyeing and bleaching of the fiber, and even in the normal use environment of the fiber product such as washing and ironing. Antimicrobial activity is not lowered. |
