abstract The present invention relates to a water purifying apparatus for disinfecting and discharging water in a water tank contaminated by bacteria in a water purifying apparatus having a water tank, according to the present invention. A water purifying device having a reservoir stored before use, wherein the water purifying device includes a photocatalyst sterilizing purifier 40 capable of sterilizing water by a photocatalyst method immediately before water stored in the reservoir is discharged to the outside of the water purifying device. The photocatalyst sterilizer 40 includes a head 41, an outer tube 42, an inner tube 43, a photocatalyst coating support 44, and an ultraviolet irradiation device 45. The head 41 is installed in the lid of the reservoir, and the outer tube 42, the inner tube 43 and the ultraviolet irradiation device 45 are fixed to maintain the airtight in the lower portion of the head 41. The ultraviolet irradiation device 45 is composed of an ultraviolet lamp 45a and a quartz tube 15b for protecting the ultraviolet lamp 45a, and the photocatalyst coating support 44 is coated with a photocatalyst on its surface. At the same time, there is provided a water purifying apparatus provided with a photocatalyst sterilizing purifier, which is inserted into a space between the inner tube 43 and the quartz tube 15b.
