titleOfInvention Ultra-fine needle crystaline Ursodeoxycholic acid and process for preparation thereof
abstract The present invention provides a new method for crystallization of Ursodeoxycholic acid ("UDCA") represented by the following general formula (1). In this method, UDCA is dissolved in methyl alcohol or ethyl alcohol, and then a mixed solvent of distilled water mixed with acetonitrile or acetone is added thereto, followed by stirring. Then, an excessive amount of distilled water is temporarily added under ice-cooling until an emulsion is formed. It is characterized by forming crystalline ultrafine particles of.n n n According to the present invention, crystallization takes place at a time without time consuming, and afterwards, it is possible to obtain a high-purity target compound without grinding after drying, and more importantly, the in-vitro dissolution rate is increased than in the conventional method. Has the advantage.
