abstract |
The present invention provides a novel class of organometallic complexes with internal fluorescent dyes for use in electroluminescent (EL) devices and methods of making the same. The organometallic complex having the guest doping agent internal fluorescent dye is thoroughly mixed with the host organometallic releasing agent at a specific ratio and introduced into the organic EL element 10 by simultaneous electrodeposition from a single source. The organometallic complex having the internal fluorescent dye determines the emission color of the EL element 10. |
