abstract In a method of manufacturing an array of microstructures herein, a substrate having a conductive portion is provided, an insulating mask layer is formed in the conductive portion of the substrate, a plurality of openings are formed in the insulating mask layer to expose the conductive portion, and The first plating layer or electrodeposition layer is applied in the insulating mask and in the opening by electroplating or electrodeposition. The second plating layer is additionally formed in the conductive portion and in the first plating layer or the electrodeposition layer by electroless plating so that the size distribution of the microstructures on the array is reduced.
