abstract (I)n n n n n n n n The compounds of formula I are described wherein A is 4- (thieno [3,2-c] pyridin-4-yl) piperazin-1-yl or 4- (4- fluorobenzoyl) piperidin- 1-1 group and R 1 and R 2 each independently represent a hydrogen or halogen atom, or an amino, hydroxy, nitro, cyano, alkyl, (C 1 -C 6) alkoxy, trifluoromethyl (C 1 -C 6) -COOR 4 , -CONH 2 , -CONHR 4 , -CONR 4 R 5 , -SR 4 , -SO 2 R 4 , -NHCOR 4 , -NHSO 2 R 4, or - N (R 4) 2 group inde wherein R 4 and R 5 are each (C 1 -C 4) alkyl group and R 3 is a hydrogen atom or a (C 1 -C 4) alkyl, - (CH 2) P OH , - ( CH 2) P NH 2, - (CH 2) n COOH, - (CH 2) n COOR 4, - (CH 2) nCONH 2, - (CH 2) n CONHOH, - (CH 2) P SH, - ( CH 2) n SO 3 H, - (CH 2) n SO 2 NH 2, - (CH 2) n SO 2 NHR 4, - (CH 2) n SO 2 NR 4 R 5, - (CH 2) n CONHR 4, - (CH 2) n CONR 4 R 5, - (CH 2) P NHSO 2 R 4, - (CH 2) P NHCOR 4, or - (CH 2) P OCOR 4 groups inde wherein R 4 and R 5 Each is a (C 1 -C 4) alkyl and n is 1, 2, 3 or 4, p is 2, 3 or 4 m is 2, 3 or 4.
