TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to a catalyst for purification of exhaust gas of automobiles and a process for producing the same. Wherein the oxygen storage agent is a cobalt-cerium composite oxide, characterized in that the catalyst for purifying an exhaust gas of automobiles has a very excellent purification rate against nitrogen oxides In addition, it has excellent purification rate against carbon monoxide and hydrocarbons, and thus is highly utilized as a three-way catalyst for removing harmful components from automobile exhaust gas. |
