A Process for Producing Aromatic Amines by Gas Phase Hydrogenation and a Catalyst Useful Thereof |
abstract |
The present invention relates to a process for producing aromatic amines by hydrogenation of a nitroaromatic compound with gas phase catalytic hydrogenation. The catalyst is palladium on graphite or graphite containing coke carriers. 30 to 6000 equivalents of hydrogen per one equivalent of nitro group are fed to the catalyst. |
