abstract | The present invention is a method of preparing ginsenoside Rb1 by hydrolyzing 20-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-20 (S) -protopanaxadiol, a ginseng saponin metabolite, with the enzyme fuzobacteria β-glycosidase. According to the present invention, 20-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-20 (S) -protopanax induces anti-carcinogenic effect by inhibiting anti-metastasis or cancer cell invasion, inhibiting tumor formation and inhibiting chromosomal abnormalities. Diols can be produced efficiently. |
