titleOfInvention | Reagent for the detection of malaria |
abstract | The present invention relates to a malaria diagnostic reagent comprising the C-terminal PV200C polypeptide of the surface protein MSP (merozoit surface protein) having an amino acid sequence of 100% identical among subspecies of quinus malaria prophylaxis. It relates to a malaria diagnostic reagent comprising a PV200C polypeptide as set forth in SEQ ID NO: 1, the C-terminal site of the protozoan surface protein MSP. The triple-row malaria protozoan surface PV200C polypeptide of the present invention has a high sensitivity and specificity to malaria antigen, and thus a low probability of gastric reaction can be effectively used for diagnosis of Korean malaria. |
