titleOfInvention | A therapeutical composition for angiogenesis-related diseases containing Arginine Deiminase |
abstract | The present invention relates to a composition for treating diseases caused by angiogenesis with an arginine diimide as an active ingredient. Arginine purified from Mycoplasma arginini or prepared by genetic recombination using an in vivo assay to measure efficacy, using a CAM assay and a mouse Matrigel model Diimidase has been shown to act to inhibit angiogenesis. In addition, by binding an activated polymer such as polyethylene glycol (PEG) to the prepared arginine diimides has been proposed a method that can effectively inhibit angiogenesis while increasing half-life and antigenicity. |
