titleOfInvention | Styrene-Based Polymers and Molded Products |
abstract | 1. TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTIONn n n TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to a styrene polymer and a molded article, and more particularly, to a styrene polymer and a molded article having a syndiotactic structure excellent in various properties such as breaking strength, impact strength, and heat resistance.n n n 2. The technical problem to be solved by the inventionn n n The present invention can form a molded article having high breaking strength, Izod impact strength, heat deformation temperature, high breaking strength at long-term heat resistance, and does not lower the surface gloss by breaking or continuous use under high temperature. An object is to develop a styrene polymer (SPS) having a syndiotactic structure.n n n 3. Summary of Solution to Inventionn n n It is a styrene polymer having a weight average molecular weight of 1 × 10 4 to 2 × 10 6 having a high syndiotactic structure, and the styrene polymer is dissolved in 1, 2, 4-trichlorobenzene and then cooled in a gel obtained by cooling. An SPS having a weight fraction of less than 10% by weight of the extract extracted with methylene and a molded article made of the SPS.n n n 4. Important uses of the inventionn n n The styrenic polymer of the present invention is suitable for the production of sheets such as food packaging materials, automotive parts, building materials, electrical and electronic materials, films, fibers, nonwoven fabrics, and the like. |
