abstract |
a) contacting the first substrate 2 to a first electroplating article 4 comprising a substrate and a matable mask disposed in a predetermined pattern on the substrate; b) an electroplating bath that is a source of metal ions ( 58) electroplating the first metal on the first substrate with a first pattern corresponding to a refill of the matchable mask pattern; and c) removing the first article from the first substrate. Chemical preparation methods are disclosed. This method can be used for the microstructure of miniaturized devices. Electroplated articles and electroplating apparatuses are also disclosed. |
