abstract | The present invention relates to a process for producing a polymerization catalyst for olefins containing magnesium, halogens and titanium and having high activity and uniform particle size distribution. In particular, the present invention is prepared by forming a carrier by an alcohol substitution method and treating the carrier with a reagent capable of reacting with a hydroxyl group of an alcohol such as organoaluminum, alkylmagnesium halide, or magnesium hydride and then reacting with titanium chloride. It relates to one catalyst. The catalyst produced by the process of the present invention has the characteristics of high activity and uniform particle size distribution of the polymer. |
