abstract | The present invention is a method of driving a plasma display panel having a three-electrode surface discharge structure by an in-display method. According to this method, new frame data is written to the remaining one frame-memory while two frame data recorded in the two frame-memory are read out and processed into single frame data corresponding to the in-display-address scheme. Since the operation is continuously performed in units of frames, data for address discharge may be continuously output. Accordingly, the display quality of the moving image can be improved also by the in-display driving method. |
