titleOfInvention | Activated carbon fiber with modified porous characteristic and modifying method thereof |
abstract | The present invention relates to a method of modifying the pore characteristics of activated carbon fibers by changing the micropores of activated carbon fibers into mesopores through a catalytic gasification using a catalyst. In the present invention, a) adsorbing a catalyst to the activated carbon fiber; b) pretreatment of the activated carbon fibers to which the catalyst is adsorbed in a furnace; And c) oxidizing the pre-treated activated carbon fibers to change the fine pores of less than 20 microns in diameter into mesopores having a diameter of 20 microns or more by modifying the pore characteristics of the activated carbon fibers. This improves the mechanical strength and electrical conductivity of the activated carbon fibers, and in particular, can be used as an electrode material for ultra-high capacity capacitors with improved storage efficiency. |
