titleOfInvention | A cDNA ENCODING C6 β-CHEMOKINE LEUKOTACTIN-1(LKN-1) ISOLATED FROM HUMAN |
abstract | The present invention relates to a cDNA encoding a novel protein (Lkn-1) belonging to C6β-chemokine, an expression vector including the same, and an electrical expression vector for attracting subsets of peripheral blood leukocytes using an electrical expression vector. It relates to a method for producing a protein. The Lkn-1 cDNA open reading frame encodes a total of 113 amino acids, including a signal peptide consisting of 21 amino acids, of which the molecular weight of the mature protein consisting of 92 amino acids is estimated to be 10,162 Da. Recombinant Lkn-1 purified by expressing the aforementioned Lkn-1 cDNA in recombinant E. coli or insect cells significantly inhibits colony formation, has chemotaxis that attracts lymphocytes, monocytes and neutrophils, and binds to receptors of CCR1 and CCR3. It was confirmed that. Therefore, the recombinant Lkn-1 protein may be used as a medicament for antibody preparation, treatment during HIV-1 infection, protection of bone marrow hepatocytes during chemotherapy or radiation therapy, and inhibition of leukemia. |
