titleOfInvention | 1,3-oxazine-4-one derivatives, methods for their preparation and intermediates for their manufacture, and their uses as herbicides |
abstract | The present invention relates to a 1,3-oxazin-4-one derivative represented by the following general formula (I):n n n n n n n n In the above formula,n n n R 1 is a phenyl group which may be substituted;n n n R 2 is a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group;n n n R 3 is a hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl group, an aralkyl group, or a phenyl group which may be substituted;n n n R 4 and R 5 are each a lower alkyl group;n n n W is an oxygen atom or a group represented by the general formula -N (R 6 )-(wherein R 6 is a hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl group, a lower alkenyl group or a lower alkynyl group).n n n The present invention also relates to a herbicide composition containing the 1,3-oxazin-4-one derivative and an N-methylene amino acid ester derivative represented by the following general formula (II), which is an intermediate for use in preparing the same. Is about:n n n n n n n n In the above formula,n n n R 4 and R 5 are each a lower alkyl group;n n n R 10 is a lower alkyl group or an aralkyl group.n n n These compounds according to the invention exhibit a strong herbicidal effect and are therefore useful as active ingredients in agricultural chemicals. |
