abstract The present invention provides a method for producing a 1,3-propylene diamide zirconium complex represented by the formula (1).n n n <Formula 1>n n n n n n n n Wherein R 1 , R 2 and R 3 are selected from the group consisting of methyl group, ethyl group, isopropyl group, tert-butyl group and phenyl group irrespective of each other, and X represents a chlorine group or a methyl group. The zirconium complex of formula 1 according to the present invention is very usefully used as a catalyst for olefin polymerization reactions such as ethene, propylene, 1-hexene and the like. These zirconium complexes are olefin polymerization when an aluminum compound such as methylalumoxane, modified methylalumoxane, or the like is used as a promoter as a boron compound such as B (C 6 F 5 ) 3 , Ph 3 CB (C 6 F 5 ) 4, etc. The catalytic activity for the reaction is very good.
