abstract | The present invention relates generally to denatured microorganisms suitable for use as live vaccines in eggs for algal species. The live vaccine of eggs of the present invention is directed against toxic microorganisms or viruses carrying antigenic determinants expressed by toxic forms of denatured microorganisms before or immediately after hatching or microorganisms immunologically related to denatured microorganisms or denatured microorganisms in live vaccines. Useful for inducing immunity. The live vaccine in eggs of the present invention is particularly effective in improving the survival of newly-hatched breeding birds. |
