Absorption structure comprising a discontinuous region, which is an osmo-absorbent material disposed on or within the capillary structure |
abstract |
The present invention relates to an absorbent structure comprising a free upright osmotic absorber portion disposed on or within a capillary substrate. The site extends outwardly perpendicular to the plane of the absorbent structure or fills a perforation in the plane of the absorbent structure. When absorbing the liquid, the site of the osmotic absorber can expand without limitation of the substrate. |
