abstract The present invention relates to a flame retardant water-dispersed polyurethane resin and a process for producing the same. In the method for producing an aqueous dispersion type flame-retardant polyurethane resin according to the present invention, a triol is reacted with a carboxylic acid halide ester in a first step to synthesize a precursor having a hydroxyl group at both terminals and a halogen group in the molecule. Next, in step 2, the precursor compound is reacted with a diol and a dicarboxylic acid to synthesize a halogen-modified polyester diol, which is an intermediate compound, followed by reacting the halogen-modified polyester diol with isophorone diisocyanate and dimethylol propionic acid in three steps A polyurethane prepolymer containing a hydrophilic group is prepared, neutralized with triethylamine and dispersed in water. When tetraethyltriamine is added to the thus produced linear flame retardant water-dispersed polyurethane and crosslinked, a three-dimensionally flame retardant water-dispersible polyurethane is obtained.
