titleOfInvention Apparatus for driving plasma display panel
abstract The driving device according to the present invention is a device suitable for driving a three-electrode surface discharge AC plasma display panel, and includes a scan driver, an address driver, a common driver and a controller. The scan driver is coupled to a scan circuit and a sustain discharge circuit for each scan electrode line so that the scan electrodes are subjected to scan data according to a predetermined scan order in an address period for forming wall charges in the pixel area to be selected. The scan driving signal is applied to the lines, and the sustain discharge driving signal is applied according to the corresponding sustain discharge data in the sustain discharge period for generating light in the selected pixel region.
