titleOfInvention | Exhaust gas treatment system by electron beam irradiation |
abstract | According to the present invention, in an improved apparatus for treating exhaust gas by electron beam irradiation, it is upstream of the center of the electron beam applied in the reactor and within 2.5 times, preferably within 2.0 times, more preferably within 1.5 times the range of the electron beam. Most preferably, ammonia is added at a position in the exhaust gas flow direction that is 0.5 to 1.0 times. Ammonia is supplied in the following way; (1) only ammonia is supplied; (2) ammonia and air are supplied; (3) ammonia and water are supplied; (4) Ammonia, air and water are all supplied. In terms of operation, ammonia is preferably supplied diluted in the form of a mixture of heated ammonia and dry air (preferably having a dew point of −15 ° C. at 1 atmosphere). It is effective to feed ammonia through a tube arranged so as to be spherical divergent to the electron beam. The apparatus of the present invention simultaneously satisfies both requirements by reducing the required amount of ammonia added, which can reduce denitrification efficiency and leaked ammonia to tens of ppm. |
