titleOfInvention Method for producing polytetramethylene ether glycol
abstract The present invention relates to a method for producing polytetramethylene ether glycol in which tetrahydrofuran is subjected to ring-opening polymerization in the presence of a fluorosulfonic acid catalyst and then hydrolyzed the terminal of the obtained polymer, as fluorosulfonic acid to be used as a catalyst. It is related with the manufacturing method of polytetramethylene ether glycol characterized by using a sulfuric acid content of 0.2 weight% or less.
