titleOfInvention In-line Apparatus and Method for Determination of Exponential Law Viscosity Parameters for Emulsions Acting with Exponential Law Fluids
abstract High internal phase emulsions (HIPE) are used to produce low weight absorbent foams, which methods include the use of capillary viscosity measurements as an in-line diagnosis of HIPE properties. In-line diagnostics gives measurements of viscosity slope and size. The measurements provide for monitoring the emulsion properties and provide several advantages, including stable high analytical measurements of the parameters of the entire flow, independent of hardware, without the need for sampling.
