| abstract |
The present invention provides multicomponent polymer strands comprising a polymer mixture of butene polymers and first polyolefins other than butene polymers (the ethylene content in the polymer form is up to about 10% by weight). The mixture is on one side or sheath of the multicomponent strand. Nonwoven fabrics (with increased ductility) made from such strands are also disclosed. Also disclosed is a composite material comprising the nonwoven fabric bonded to both sides of an internal meltblown layer, as well as garments and other articles made from the nonwoven fabric. |
