abstract | The present invention relates to a water-soluble aluminum paste obtained by treating a grafted organophosphate polyester, which is a substance capable of significantly reducing the reactivity of an aluminum pigment, which tends to react with water to release hydrogen gas in a water-based coating composition. The present invention relates to a water-soluble metallic coating composition for automobiles, comprising: coordinating an o-phosphate derivative with a compound having an epoxide group and an aromatic or alicyclic group in a molecule to coordinate a prepolymer having an ethylene oxide group and an isocyanate group at a terminal thereof. By including a water-soluble aluminum paste treated with a metal pigment protecting agent, it has excellent dispersibility with the pigment, and prevents hydrogen gas generation by preventing hydrophobic contact with water when dispersed by water, and has good adhesiveness with the binder resin. |
