titleOfInvention | Fusion protein used as a substrate of hepatitis C virus proteinase and a method for measuring the activity of the proteinase using the same |
abstract | The present invention provides a simple and efficient proteolytic activity of proteolytic enzymes, in particular, hepatitis C virus, in order to develop protease inhibitors, in particular to develop protease inhibitors as a therapeutic agent for hepatitis C virus. It relates to a method of measuring the activity of.n n n Method for measuring the activity of the protease of the present invention is a polypeptide consisting of at least 4 to 100 amino acids on both sides of the cleavage of the substrate protein of the protease and 5,000 at the amino terminus, carboxy terminus or both thereof of the polypeptide. A fusion protein containing a protein of moderate size having a molecular weight of 50,000 to 50,000 Daltons is used as a substrate to measure the activity of protease by enzyme-substrate reaction with protease. |
