titleOfInvention | Tobacco smoke filter to remove toxic compounds |
abstract | The present invention relates to a tobacco smoke filter for wet filtration of tobacco smoke by absorbing moisture from tobacco smoke, including a porous substrate having a wetting agent such as sodium pyroglutamate dispersed therein.n n n The tobacco smoke filter also includes a porous substrate in which the microcapsules are dispersed. The microcapsules may comprise a humectant, such as sodium pyroglutamate. The microcapsules also preferably include one or more methylcelluloses, chlorophyllin and one or more vegetable oils. The tobacco smoke filter also includes a porous substrate on which dry water and porphyrin are dispersed. The tobacco smoke filter also includes a porous substrate on which copper containing porphyrins are dispersed. |
