titleOfInvention Manufacturing method of field emission display
abstract 1. A method of manufacturing a field emission display device for more uniformizing the surface of an emitter emitting electrons, wherein an anode electrode and a cathode electrode are formed on one surface of a first substrate and a second substrate, and a phosphor is formed on one surface of the anode electrode. After application, the emitter is formed on one surface of the cathode electrode, and then an inert gas is injected and discharged into the bonded substrate. Injecting and discharging the inert gas in this way causes the ions of the inert gas generated during discharge to preferentially collide with the uneven surface of the emitter, thereby gradually making the surface of the emitter uniform. As a result, the electron emission characteristics between the emitters are uniformized so that accurate image realization is achieved, and the image quality characteristics are improved, such as equalizing the brightness of the screen.
