titleOfInvention | Toner, electrostatic latent image development and image formation method |
abstract | The electrostatic latent image developing toner of the present invention contains colored particles containing at least a colorant and a binder resin. The volume average particle diameter of the colored particles is 1.0 to 5.0 µm, wherein the toner can (1) adjust the relationship between the amount of charge and the particle diameter appropriately, (2) adjust the particle size distribution appropriately, and / or (3) The external additive which consists of at least ultrafine particle and ultrafine particle can also be added, and the coverage of colored particle can be adjusted suitably. The image forming method of the present invention comprises (1) developing an electrostatic latent image on the latent image bearing member to the toner layer so as to form a toner layer on the surface of the developer bearing member disposed on the latent image bearing member and to form a toner image. And a developing step of (2) transferring the developed toner image onto a transfer material. The Rz of at least the water phase portion of the transfer material provided during the transfer step is preferably 10 μm or less. |
