titleOfInvention Process for Reducing Nitrogen Oxides in Exausted Gas
abstract There is provided a method for reducing nitrogen oxides in flue gas generated in an apparatus in which combustion occurs at a high temperature such as a boiler, an incinerator, and a kiln. In the nitrogen oxide reduction method of the present invention, when the urea aqueous solution used as the reducing agent is thermally decomposed before injection into the flue gas to obtain a decomposition product in a gaseous state, and then injected into the hot flue gas, the urea aqueous solution is directly injected into the flue gas. The efficiency of removing nitrogen oxides can be improved by saving the time it takes for the urea aqueous solution to undergo thermal decomposition in flue gas.
