abstract | The present invention relates to a method for preparing a styrene oligomer, and more particularly, to prepare an oligomer by using a saturated aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent as a polymerization solvent instead of a chlorine-based organic halogen compound or a high boiling point aromatic organic solvent, which has a high human toxicity. This greatly improves the work stability in manufacturing conventional oligomers and the environmental pollution around the plant as well as the human toxicity problem caused by the trace amount of residual solvent remaining in the product. It relates to a method for producing a styrene oligomer. |
