abstract | A method for producing a high bulk density granular detergent comprising neutralizing a liquid acid precursor of an anionic surfactant with a granular alkali builder and assembling a neutralized product, wherein the powder layer is impregnated with at least a portion of the liquid acid precursor. Contacting the liquid acid precursor layer with a powder layer containing more granular alkali builders than necessary to neutralize the liquid acid precursor, and then stirring and mixing the resultant to perform neutralization and granulation at the same time. The method consists of steps. The bulk density of the granular detergent can be easily increased by this method. |
