Recombinant anti-HIV antibody and preparation method thereof |
abstract |
The present invention relates to a gene fragment encoding a variable region of an antibody having neutralizing activity against human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and a method for producing the same. Rat-human hybrid antibodies and rat-human remodeling antibodies having neutralizing activity against HIV obtain specific nucleotide sequences of gene fragments encoding the H chain and L chain variable regions of the antibody having neutralizing activity against HIV. The DNA synthesized based on this nucleotide sequence can then be prepared by artificial fusion with a gene encoding human immunoglobulin. The novel recombinant anti-HIV antibodies of the invention are useful for the treatment and prevention of AIDS. |
