abstract |
The present invention provides a device consisting of a piezoelectric material and one or more coatings that react with small amounts of oxygen and / or water present in reactive and inert gases. Piezoelectric materials are coupled to a conductor for transmitting alternating current and a conductor for transmitting the resonance frequency of the crystal. The reactive coating is not thick enough to interfere with the vibration of the piezoelectric material but has an effective thickness that provides a useful life for the coating. |
